Effective Altruism (EA) is a global movement that combines a research field identifying the most pressing global problems and their solutions with a community of people acting on these findings through their careers, their donations or their volunteering.
EA Heidelberg is a local group acting as a social hub for people in and around Heidelberg who are interested in making the world a better place in an evidence-guided way.
Join our upcoming Intro Program!
The EA Intro Program will take place again from 8 December 2025 to 01 February 2026. In this free 8-week course, you will learn about the most important ideas of Effective Altruism (EA).
👉 You can participate online or in-person (if available).
👉 The discussion groups will be held in German or English (reading materials are in English).
👉 There are various time slots available, to make sure the sessions fit your schedule.
The EA Intro Program offers you the chance to
learn new concepts and approaches
in a small group of like-minded people
guided by an experienced facilitator,
so you can make a more positive impact on the world through your donations, work and other projects.

Vom 08. Dezember 2025 bis 01. Februar 2026 findet wieder das Intro Programm zum Effektiven Altruismus (EA) statt. In diesem 8-wöchigen kostenlosen Kurs lernst du die wichtigsten Ideen des Effektiven Altruismus kennen.
👉 Du kannst online oder (wenn möglich) in Person teilnehmen.
👉 Die Diskussionsgruppen finden auf Deutsch oder Englisch statt (das Lesematerial ist auf Englisch).
👉 Es stehen diverse Zeiträume zur Verfügung, damit die gemeinsamen Diskussionen auf jeden Fall in deinen Terminplan passen.

betreut von erfahrenen Kursleiter:innen
neue Konzepte und Denkansätze kennenzulernen,
